Nancy Theofrastous, MA, CCC-SLP, received her Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Case Western Reserve University in 2000. She owns and manages WRSLP-G. In addition to overseeing all services provided to families, she directly serves children and adolescents in the offices of WRSLP-G in Chardon, in a satellite office in Cleveland, and in independent schools.
Her areas of specialty include early speech-language development, articulation and phonology, school-age language, emergent literacy, apraxia, auditory processing disorders, higher-order language processing and pragmatics/social communication. In response to the needs of the community, she recently began providing services to adults as well. Prior to entering the field of speech-language pathology, Ms. Theofrastous enjoyed careers in book publishing and educational measurement.
Lori Lundeen-Smith M.S., CCC-SLP

Lori Lundeen-Smith, MS, COND-SLP, received her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University and her Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy from Illinois State University. She specializes in work with pediatric patients with a variety of communication needs, and leads the GLTR (Girls Love to Read) Book Club for WRSLP-G. Ms. Lundeen-Smith has been a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC) for nearly 30 years, currently serving as Assistant Chair of the Center for Music Therapy at The Music Settlement in Cleveland.
Hope Merker M.A., CCC-SLP

Hope Merker received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-language Pathology and Audiology as well as her Master of Arts degree in Speech-language Pathology from the University of Akron. During her master’s program, Ms. Merker participated in a grant sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education which provided her with specialized training in working with patients with hearing loss, including auditory-verbal therapy. She also had the opportunity to present findings at the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) national conference in 2013. In the same year, Ms. Merker was recognized as Student of the Year by the Ohio Speech Language Hearing Association (OSLHA). Ms. Merker has worked at WRSLP-G for 4 years as the Clinical Support Coordinator. In 2014, Hope became a full-time speech language-pathologist at WRSLP. Her areas of specialty include early speech-language developement and auditory-verbal therapy. She also serves students three days per week in local private schools.
Clinical Support Assistant
Ana Massiello received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Mathematics from Allegheny College. She is currently taking a post-baccalaureate year in the Speech Pathology and Audiology department at Kent State University, where she will begin her doctorate in Audiology in Fall 2014. Ms. Massiello began her relationship with WRSLP-G as a volunteer and, because of her success in that role, was recently invited to join the front office staff.
Billing & Insurance Manager
For the past 25 years, Nancy Duggan has provided clinical professionals in the Cleveland area with medical billing services. For 14 of those years, she has helped Nancy Theofrastous navigate the complex world of the third party payer system. When WRSLP-G consolidated its practice in 2013, Ms. Duggan agreed to make the trek to Chardon three days a week. She oversees all billing services.
Jeanette is a native of Chardon, Ohio. She is a graduate from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Jeanette has worked as an office manager at a manufacturing company for the past 15 years and more recently as an administrator for the Federal Bar Association Northern District of Ohio Chapter. Jeanette joined WRSLP in September 2014. She manages all general activities in the front office and oversees all administrative aspects of WRSLP’'s work with the Ohio Department of Education and other public funding agencies.
Sage McMillan received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Community Relations with a minor in Anthropology from Michigan State, and recently finished her Master's Degree in Geography from Kent State University. Sage enjoys spending time with her family, walking her Shiba Inu in the woods, and the risks involved in gardening in northeast Ohio. She manages all general activities in the front office.
Special Programs Managar
Amy Bennett has an academic and professional background in the theatre arts and organizational development. She is leading Table Games and assisting with growing the program. She also serves as project manager for an art studio employing artists with and without disabilities.
